The Breakfast Drink Exercise for Mind, Mind Training, Justification and Concentration,Try to remember in detail, what you drink first thing in the morning. Close your eyes and recreate in your mind’s eye the room you were in when you had the drink. Try to really see it as if it were in front of you, smell it, touch it, hear it. Then turn your attention to the drink and slowly start sipping, trying to really concentrate on the senses. Try this for 15-20 minutes. Then try remembering lines from a part of the scene you have to enact and start saying these lines while thinking about the drink. The drink is the main focus of concentration. The lines are secondary.

You must ensure that the drink is never out of focus of your mind. Test this by constantly asking yourself questions that test your senses. While saying the lines, you may ask yourself, ‘How hot or cold is this drink? What is it made of? How does it taste?’ Though this seems tricky, it will yet have a significant effect on the believability of the lines. The reason for this is that the experience of the drink is real to you – you believe in the drink. This belief transfers itself into the words of the character that you are playing.
